Hannah is one of our boarders. We always enjoy her visits!

REGISTRATION…
It is necessary to fill out a registration form for your dog. This can be turned in with the vaccination record prior to or at the time of the dog's stay. If you would like to pre-register your dog for future stays, please call or email us and we will get a form off to you right away.

VACCINATIONS…
As a safety and health factor, Smith Ranch Kennels requires that all dogs have their current annual vaccines: Rabies, Distemper, Hepatitis, Leptospirosis, Parvovirus, Parainfluenza, and Bordetella (prevents canine cough). You will need to bring a copy of your dog's current vaccination record with you or you can mail it in prior to your dog's stay.

TICK/FLEA PREVENTATIVE…
We are located in the midst of 25 acres of South Texas countryside and do our best to keep our kennels tick and flea free but where there are dogs, those pesky little critters will occasionally show up. In order for us to control the situation, should your dog show up sporting ticks or fleas, we will need to administer treatment for which there will be a charge. It is a good idea to use a tick and flea preventative, such as FRONTLINE, REVOLUTION or whatever your veterinarian suggests prior to boarding your dog. In fact, in South Texas, it is a good idea to use tick, flea and heartworm preventatives year round.
